We acknowledge and pay respect to the Kombumerri people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and learn. We would like to pay our respects to all Elders past, present and emerging as they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of our Indigenous people.

Education extends far beyond the classroom walls. We are proud to offer a wide range of cocurricular opportunities in Sport, The Arts, various clubs, activities and service opportunities allowing our students to explore their passions, develop new skills, and foster a sense of camaraderie within our vibrant school community.

Sport

We understand the importance of physical activity and the valuable life lessons that can be learned through sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication. Our comprehensive sports program offers a diverse range of sporting activities, enabling students to participate, compete, and excel in their chosen disciplines. Whether it's representing our school in inter-school competitions, training with our coaches, or simply enjoying recreational sports, our students have the opportunity to stay active, build resilience, and develop lifelong healthy habits.

The Arts

Nurturing creativity and artistic expression is at the heart of our Arts program. We provide a platform for students to explore a wide array of artistic disciplines, including music, drama, and dance. Through engaging performances, exhibitions, and workshops, our students are encouraged to unleash their creativity, develop their talents, and gain confidence in their artistic abilities. Our dedicated arts teachers and industry professionals guide and inspire our students, helping them realise their artistic potential and appreciate the power of self-expression.

Clubs and Activities

St Andrews offers a variety of clubs and activities designed to cater to the diverse interests of our students. From academic clubs to special interest groups, there is something for everyone and provides opportunities for students to pursue their passions, connect with like-minded individuals, and engage in meaningful discussions and activities outside of the classroom. These clubs foster a sense of belonging, promote personal growth, and encourage students to explore new horizons.

Participation in cocurricular activities enriches the overall educational experience, allowing students to develop important life skills, such as leadership, time management, service and teamwork. Through these activities, students also form lifelong friendships, create cherished memories, and discover their strengths and passions.
