Application Procedures
We take the safety and well-being of our students and staff seriously, and as such, there are specific requirements for all employment positions at St Andrews Lutheran College.
St Andrews is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
All teaching staff must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers to be eligible for employment. Additionally, all non-teaching support staff are required to undergo a Blue Card check (QLD Working with Children Check) upon appointment.
Blue Card Legislation has changed effective 31 August 2020 and a ‘No Card, No Start’ policy is now in effect. Candidates may wish to consider how their Blue Card status will affect their suitability for the position as a Blue Card/Exemption Card is an inherent requirement of the role prior to a start date.
St Andrews Lutheran College supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of students. All applicants are required to undergo a screening process and the successful applicant must comply with all College policies and procedures.
The College reserves the right to reduce the application period and/or remove the job advertisement early should a suitable applicant be found.
Within two weeks of the closing date, the selection panels' decision will be communicated to all applicants. Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted. Please refer to our 'Employment Collection Notice' below. This notice will inform you, as an applicant of how St Andrews Lutheran College will handle the information collected from you, including your personal information and resume.
