Opportunities to Represent St Andrews

Under 12 to Under 18 Representative Basketball

Our school offers a competitive Representative Basketball program for students in the Under 12 to Under 18 age groups. This program commences in Term One and culminates with the highly anticipated Champion Basketball Schools Queensland (CBSQ) tournament in Term Three. Through our Representative Basketball teams, our students have the opportunity to compete against other schools, demonstrate their skills, and represent St Andrews with pride.

Regular Participation in Gala Days and Club Competitions

St Andrews actively participates in Term-by-Term Gala Days, providing our students with regular opportunities to showcase their basketball abilities in a tournament-style setting. Additionally, we are regular participants in a weekly club competition, further fostering our students' development, team dynamics, and love for the game.

Weekly Training and Sport Allocated Time

We are committed to the continued growth and development of our basketball players. Our students benefit from weekly training sessions led by our experienced staff, which focus on improving technical skills, tactical understanding, teamwork, and overall basketball proficiency. We also allocate dedicated sport time to ensure that our students receive comprehensive training and ample opportunities to excel on the court.
