We acknowledge and pay respect to the Kombumerri people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and learn. We would like to pay our respects to all Elders past, present and emerging as they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of our Indigenous people.

Welcome to the world of Percussion Ensembles, where rhythmic precision and drive is combined with weird and wacky instruments.

Catering for students in Years 4 and up, both our Intermediate and Senior groups utilise both standard percussion instruments (Drums, Xylophone, Marimba, Timpani, and Auxiliary instruments) as well as non-traditional instruments (Balloons, Newspaper, Bins, Boomwhackers, Kitchen Utensils etc) to create soundscapes and visually entertaining performances.

All students in our Percussion Ensembles take individual lessons from one of our Performing Arts Teachers or a tutor outside of the school.
