Pay: $75,000-$104,323

Employment Basis: 12 month fixed term contract

Key Functions, Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Deliverables:
In this role, you will:

Plan, implement and evaluate high‑quality programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines.

Create a nurturing, inclusive and engaging environment where children feel safe, confident and connected.

Build strong and trusting relationships with families, welcoming them into the life of the Service and the broader College community.

Work closely with the Service Leader, QLECS and colleagues to support compliance, documentation and high‑quality practice.

Contribute to National Quality Framework processes and continuous improvement across the Service.

Lead and mentor educators with kindness, collaboration and positivity.

Participate in ongoing professional learning, including QLECS workshops, conferences and retreats.
About You
You will bring:

Relevant Qualifications & Compliance
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent, Qld Teacher Registration (or eligibility), Blue Card, First Aid/CPR including Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management, and Supervisor Certificate (or ability to obtain). -
Strong Knowledge of Early Childhood Frameworks & Regulations
Experience with the Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines, the National Law & Regulations, and the National Quality Framework. -
Experience in Designing & Delivering High‑Quality Play‑Based Programs
Ability to plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate, child‑centred learning experiences. -
Skilled in Documentation, Assessment & Family Engagement
Confident in documenting learning, maintaining records, and building strong relationships with families. -
Effective Communication & Collaboration
Demonstrated ability to work positively with leaders, colleagues, families and community stakeholders. -
Understanding of Children’s Services Operations
Knowledge of WH&S, risk management, hygiene, budgets and general early childhood service requirements. -
Leadership, Teamwork & Professional Conduct
Experience guiding and supporting other educators, modelling ethical, organised and reflective practice -
Commitment to Christian Ethos & Community Engagement
Willingness to support the Lutheran ethos and participate in community and College events. -
