All teaching staff must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers to be eligible for employment. Additionally, all non-teaching support staff are required to undergo a Blue Card check (QLD Working with Children Check) upon appointment.
Blue Card Legislation has changed effective 31 August 2020 and a ‘No Card, No Start’ policy is now in effect. Candidates may wish to consider how their Blue Card status will affect their suitability for the position as a Blue Card/Exemption Card is an inherent requirement of the role prior to a start date.
St Andrews Lutheran College supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of students. All applicants are required to undergo a screening process and the successful applicant must comply with all College policies and procedures.

Laboratory Technician
The College is actively searching for a passionate and dedicated Laboratory Technician to support delivery of the Science curriculum.
As a Library Technician you will work with the laboratory manager to provide support and assistance to science teachers to ensure safe work practices in the school’s science classrooms and laboratories.
