We acknowledge and pay respect to the Kombumerri people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and learn. We would like to pay our respects to all Elders past, present and emerging as they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of our Indigenous people.

At St Andrews, we believe in providing our students with a diverse range of activities to foster their physical wellbeing and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Students have the opportunity to choose from the following categories, each offering a variety of engaging and enjoyable activities:

Fitness-Based Activities

We offer a range of fitness-based activities aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. Students can choose from options such as Yoga, Zumba, Fitness Gym, Pilates, and more. These activities not only promote physical health but also help students develop mindfulness, body awareness, and stress management techniques.

Recreational Activities

Our recreational activities are designed to encourage students to embrace an active lifestyle while having fun. Options include Skateboarding, Mountain Biking, Beach Walking, and Surfing. These activities allow students to explore the outdoors, appreciate nature, and experience the thrill of adventure in a safe and supervised environment.

Social or Non-Competitive Sports

For those who prefer a more relaxed and social approach to sports, we offer activities such as Tennis, Social Indoor Sport, Table Tennis, and Beach Volleyball. These sports provide opportunities for students to engage in friendly matches, socialise, and build teamwork skills without the pressure of intense competition.

Competitive Sports

At St Andrews we recognize the value of competitive sports in developing resilience, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Students selected for our Sport Excellence teams will receive specialised training and have the chance to compete against other schools. Additionally, we offer various inter-school options where students can participate in competitions based on availability and interest.

We strive to provide a comprehensive range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our students. Through our wide selection of options, we aim to instil a lifelong passion for physical activity, promote healthy habits, and foster personal growth in a supportive and inclusive environment.
