The Role
As a key member of the College Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Deputy Principal – Head of Secondary School, the Director of Learning and Curriculum provides both strategic and operational leadership for teaching, learning, and assessment across Years 7–12.
This pivotal role balances educational vision with disciplined implementation, ensuring curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment are coherent, evidence-informed, and aligned with the College's mission. The successful candidate will champion pedagogical excellence, foster professional growth, and ensure alignment between curriculum design and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the renewal and implementation of the College’s Pedagogical Model and Teaching & Learning Framework.

Drive curriculum innovation and assessment quality across Years 7–12.

Promote evidence-based teaching practices and digital learning strategies.

Oversee data-informed improvement processes to enhance student outcomes.

Develop leadership capacity in Heads of Department through coaching and mentoring.

Contribute to strategic planning and represent Learning & Curriculum on the Secondary Executive Team.

Maintain a teaching load (0.1–0.2 FTE), ensuring ongoing engagement with classroom practice and student learning.
